Reintroducing a legendary strategy IP to a new generation.
Age of Empires is one of the world's most iconic strategy game franchises. Bringing it to mobile in Türkiye meant more than launching a new game — it meant reconnecting a historic IP with a younger audience.
The challenge was to preserve the franchise's legacy of history and strategy while making it relevant to Gen Z players and their content habits. We positioned Age of Empires: Mobile not only as a game to play, but as a world of stories that could be told through creators, culture and history.
The strategy was to merge the IP's historic foundation with local cultural codes. By collaborating with leading YouTubers and gaming influencers, including Türkiye's top gaming celebrity, the campaign transformed gameplay into content that felt familiar, entertaining and locally relevant.
Across YouTube, the campaign generated over 6M views in a short period of time, helping Age of Empires: Mobile build visibility and relevance among a new generation of gamers in Türkiye.
